PURPLE FRIDAY
Friday 8 May
Clubs Say No to Domestic Violence, scheduled for Friday, 8 May, is a state-wide social impact campaign encouraging all registered clubs to stand together and shine a spotlight on the industry’s role in DFV prevention.
The initiative has been deliberately aligned with Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month in May, helping to strengthen collective advocacy, amplify community awareness and reinforce the importance of early intervention and support for those affected.
Clubs across NSW have long played a vital role in supporting DFV prevention and response efforts. From providing safe, welcoming community spaces to partnering with frontline services, hosting awareness campaigns and supporting local organisations, the registered club industry continues to demonstrate its commitment to protecting and strengthening local communities.
Join us on May 8th as we wear purple, take a stand and raise awareness for Domestic Violence prevention.
