JOHNNY LAW & THE WANDERING STARS

Johnny Law is an Australian rock ’n’ roll and rockabilly singer, guitarist, and songwriter whose music is deeply rooted in the sounds of the 1950s. Based in Perth but regularly touring the Eastern States, Johnny is known for his love of classic rock ’n’ roll, strong songs, and energetic live performances that naturally draw people to the dancefloor.

Since forming Johnny Law & The Pistol Packin’ Daddies in 2001, Johnny has released four albums and spent many years playing shows and festivals across Australia, as well as touring overseas in Europe and the USA. His music blends rockabilly, country, and Americana influences, with an emphasis on groove, melody, and feel rather than flash.

For Jamboree, Johnny performs with his Sydney-based lineup Johnny Law & The Wandering Stars, featuring:

The Wandering Stars are also the core musicians behind BANG! BANG!, bringing a natural chemistry and shared musical history to the stage. Together, the band delivers a tight, upbeat rock ’n’ roll show built around rhythm, vintage style, and good-time energy.

Johnny Law & The Wandering Stars recently appeared at the Crank It Up Festival, where the focus was simple — playing honest rock ’n’ roll, keeping the crowd moving, and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
