As we all stay home and stay safe, this year’s epic $7,000 Easter Egg Raffle was unable to be held at your Club. With a mountain of Easter Gifts that needed giving, the team at CHP RSL took the eggs to the streets, in support of some of our local community organisations.

Rosanna from Addi Road is so EGG-cited about packing this week’s emergency food boxes at The Food Pantry.

The Food Pantry is a low cost, food rescue grocery shop located at the Addison Road Centre. Here they rescue fruit, vegetables, bread and other quality food and household products from being thrown into landfill and offer them to the community at affordable rates.

CHP RSL delivered some EGG-citing Easter Gifts to the Exodus Foundation this week.

The Exodus Foundation provides food parcels to the poor, and counselors and health professionals care for each guest. Recognised as a leading front-line charity, The Exodus Foundation also continues to connect guests with the professional services they need to break their cycle of poverty.

There will be some EGG-citing finds on the shelves at The Staples Bag this week.

The Staples Bag are committed to supplying food staples at low cost. The Staples Bag initiative also provides unemployed people with hands-on work experience as well as the broader life skills that help job seekers to find and keep a job.
