On a lovely sunny Sunday, 40 CHRSL and 4 Non Bowlers were warmly welcomed by John Tatum to the Gladesville B.C. The calling of the cards was delayed due to members not turning up therefore we went out to play at 10.30 am. Secretary Jeanie reminded members to make sure they ring if they are unable to make the game as it does cause a lot of upset to the running of the day.
We played until 12.45pm and it was very enjoyable out on the green everyone was in good spirits and we had to full greens of players. We had our lunch in the Bistro area this year to enable Jeanie to come with her wheel chair Thank you to Gladesville B.C for looking after Jeanie’s needs. The Caterers prepared us a lovely meal.
Vice President Roy standing in for President Margaret who is not well said thank you to the members and staff at Gladesville for looking after us so well our members look forward to coming to Gladesville in July each year as we always have such an enjoyable day. Thank you to the CHPRSL Committee and special thank to Secretary Jeanie for all her hard work on our behalf.

Welfare Report
Annette Morris
Annette is improving slightly and trying very hard to walk from her chair to the bed. She is still having special physio and her husband Fred is taking her home for a day or two and is visiting her bowling club to see her friends. We all wish you the very best Annette and hope to see you walking soon. Don’t give up.
Vera Bergmann
Vera is progressing slowly and she is now walking with a walking stick, it is still painful but our winter weather doesn't help especially in Bairnsdale as it is very cold down in Victoria. Her husband Heinz is also not enjoying the best of health. We wish you both a better future, spring is just around the corner and it will ease a lot of pain. All the best, Vera and Heinz.
June Young
June is doing very well and wishes to play at Concord, great news June - see you at Concord.
Jean Kelly
Jean was very sick with pneumonia but im glad to say is better now and we will see Jean at Concord.
President Margaret Kiely
Margaret, who was in Melbourne visiting her son, came home with very bad pleurisy. Im glad to say Margaret is now ok, and enjoying a break up in Queensland to see two old friends. Take, care Margaret.
Russell Gow
Russell has been in Prince of Wales hospital for one month now owing to pneumonia. I spoke to Russell again on the phone and he has had a blood transfusion as his haemoglobin was very low. We also wish you well Russell and hope you will be home soon. Russell’s mum has been up from Sussex Inlet to look after him and has been visiting him in hospital, Thank you Dianna. Best wishes to you both.
Sylvia Gurenttz
Sylvia was taken to Canterbury Hospital from Hurlstone Park Bowling club while playing bowls in the Margaret Osborn’s Memorial Day. Sylvia was unable to walk, but luckily Sylvia has no fractures. I spoke to Sylvia and she said it happened so suddenly when she walked onto the green. Hope you will be home soon, all the best Sylvia.
Kevin Turk
Kevin will have to not walk on his kitchen floor after he washes it. Kevin slipped over and fell breaking his left wrist. Kevin has been staying in Gosford with his daughter who is looking after him. (what would we do without these wonderful daughters) (I am blessed with a great one). Take care Kevin and we will see you at Concord.
Please let me know if any of our group members are not well, it is nice to let them know that we are thinking of them. Good Bowling, Good Health to all.
