38 Bowlers and 8 non bowlers boarded the bus at CHPRSL at 9am with the hint of rain in the air. There was a lucky prize on the bus a bottle of wine won by Wyn Silvia. On arriving at Bargo at 10am we were warmly welcomed by President Ted , Eula Murray and Bowls Secretary Wayne. There was a lovely morning tea supplied.
The cards were called by Bowls Secretary Wayne and at 10.30am play commenced there were a few showers during the game and by 12pm all players were back in the club house. Lunch was served about 1.00pm a very nice BBQ sausages and rissoles with salad. A special mention to all concerned the tables were beautifully decorated.
Eula Murray thanked everyone for coming and President Ted thanked the kitchen and bar staff for their hard work and he looked forward to seeing us again in September 08. Jeannie thanked President Ted and Bowls Secretary Wayne for all their help and their hard work in making our day so enjoyable, also thank you to all our non bowlers for helping us fill the coach. Jeannie asked the kitchen staff to come out and take a bow.
President Margaret thanked all the Bargo people for the game and the lovely day and welcomed our new members and the return of old members to our group. The coach left at 3pm an enjoyable day had by all.
Claudette Thompson won the $10 voucher on the trip home thank you Thelma Taylor for filling in for Shirley running the lucky Prizes on the bus. Jeannie presented our coach driver Dennis with a gift and thanked him on behalf of everyone for looking after us so well as usual.

Unfortunately Hazel cannot play bowls, but hoping to be back soon.
Heinz Berhmann:
Vera and Heinz were hoping to be back for South Strathfield game but appointment to see specialist is not till early May, now their visit back to Sydney will be delayed. Good luck Heinz.
Ron Palmer:
Glad to say Don is back playing bowls - but not to play two days in a row owing to his operation. Tak care Ron.
Dawn Watkiss:
Dawn not allowed to play bowls as yet, slowly recovering from ther hip operation. Hoping to see you soon Dawn.

Betty Rowe:-
Our non bowling member - progressing very well with her arm and shoulder injury. Good news Betty.
