This ONE DAY AQF Level III unit is a mandatory requirement in NSW for any person seeking employment in gaming areas of any licensed premises and is approved by the Casino Liquor & Gaming Control Authority (CLGCA).
The program provides:
- the necessary knowledge and understanding of the current NSW gaming legislation
- rights and responsibilities of individuals under that legislation to support harm minimisation and responsible gaming initiatives.

Objectives
Participants will learn about:
- Understand the context of gambling in NSW.
- Explain the legislative framework for responsible conduct of gambling in NSW.
- Identify the indicators of problem gambling and the effect that this problem has on individuals, families and the community.
- Formulate strategies that can be used in the workplace that support responsible conduct of gambling.
- List the benefits of implementing responsible conduct of gambling strategies and practices.
Certification
On successful completion:
- Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for–SITHGAM006A – “Provide Responsible Gaming Services” as part of a Certificate III in Hospitality SIT30707
- A Casino, Liquor & Gaming Control Authority Certificate for Responsible Conduct of Gambling
