This TWO DAY AQF Level IV program is designed to provide managers and supervisors with the necessary knowledge and understanding of the legislation that relates to OH&S responsibilities and the management of risks in the workplace. It also addresses the policies, systems and processes that are needed within an organisation to support and minimise risk factors so as to maintain a safe workplace for employees and minimise financial liabilities.

Objectives
Participants will learn about:
- Current Workplace Health and Safety Legislation
- Implementing and monitoring OH&S procedures and systems in the workplace
- Systems for the control of workplace risks through the monitoring, reporting and following up on reported hazards and risks in the workplace
- Completion of OH&S documentation relating to safety, hazards or injury in the workplace
Certification
On successful completion:
- Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment-BSBOHS407A “ Monitor a Safe Workplace” as part of a Certificate IV in Frontline Management BSB40807
