Objectives
Participants will learn about:
- The Acts and regulations that govern the hygienic preparation and service of food in NSW
- The Food Standard requirements for person and workplace hygiene
- Safe food handling, preparation and storage procedures
- The critical steps that can be taken to ensure the safe preparation, handling & service of foods
- The potential consequences and risks posed by poor hygiene standards
Certification
On successful completion:
- Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for– THHGHS01B – “Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures” as part of a Certificate III in Hospitality (Operations)THH33002
