This TWO DAY AQF Level III program provides participants with knowledge and understanding of the NSW legislation that applies to the operation of poker machines as well as dealing a general knowledge of the interpretation of artwork, reading meters, payout documentation and procedures and minor repairs that may be necessary.

Course Aim

Details from SIT07 Tourism, Hospitality & Events Training Package - SITHGAM001A - Attend Gaming Machines

Objectives

Participants will learn about:

  • Provide information and assistance to customers on gaming machines and their artwork.
  • Maintain and carry out minor repairs to machines.
  • Ensure the security of patrons playing the machines and the security of the gaming area.
  • Complete Poker Machine payouts records and requirements.
  • Operate Coin Dispensing machine equipment.

Certification

On successful completion:

Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for SITHGAM001A – “Attend Gaming Machines” 

in partial completion of a Certificate III in HospitalitySIT30707
