This ONE DAY AQF Level III program provides participants with knowledge and understanding of the NSW legislation that applies to the operation of poker machines as well as dealing a general knowledge of the interpretation of artwork, reading meters, payout documentation and procedures and minor repairs that may be necessary. Prior to comencement of the course students will be sent a workbook and assignment to complete on Process Financial Transactions (SITXFIN001A) which is a prerequisite for Attend Gaming Machines.

Objectives
Participants will learn about:
- Provide information and assistance to customers on gaming machines and their artwork.
- Maintain and carry out minor repairs to machines.
- Ensure the security of patrons playing the machines and the security of the gaming area.
- Complete Poker Machine payouts records and requirements.
- Operate Coin Dispensing machine equipment.
Certification
On successful completion:
Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for SITHGAM001A – “Attend Gaming Machines” and Statement of Attainment for SITXFIN001A - Process Financial Transactions.
