Certificate II in Hospitality (Operations) THH21802 - AQF Level II qualification

Course Aim
The aim of this Certificate Level II qualification is to provide an entry to point to a diverse range of students to provide them with a Nationally Recognised Training Qualification and a set of skills which can assist them to gain employment or commence or develop their own careers.
The skills electives offered within this program will vary depending on the outcomes that are most relevant to the target group undertaking the training, the funding base and the course configuration offered.

- THHCOR03B -Follow Health, Safety & Security Procedures
- THHGHS01B - Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures
Elective Units can include -
- THHBFB00B - Clean & Tidy Bar Areas
- THHBFB01B - Operate a Bar
- THHBFB02B - Provide a link between Kitchen & Service Areas
- THHBFB03B - Provide Food & Beverage Service
- THHBFB09B - Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol
- THHBFB12B - Prepare & Serve Espresso Coffee
- THHBG01B - Attend Gaming Machines
- THHADG03B - Provide Responsible Gambling Services
- THHBFO09B - Provide Club Reception Services
- THHGFA01B - Process Financial Transactions
Work experience placements may be included in some configuration to allow students to put into practice the skills that they have learnt in a practical environment. Where this qualification is undertaken as part of a traineeship then there will be a full-time or part-time employment requirement.
