Certificate III in Hospitality SIT30707 - AQF Level III qualification
Course Aim
The aim of this Certificate Level III qualification is to provide both an entry to point to new entrants and a development pathway for those who have completed a Certificate II qualification providing them with a Nationally Recognised Training Qualification and a more extensive set of skills which can assist them to gain employment or develop their own careers.
The skills electives offered within this program will vary depending on the outcomes that are most relevant to the target group.

As this qualification is primarily delivered as a traineeship program there is a full-time or part-time employment requirement.
Who should attend this course?
This is normally delivered as a part-time traineeship program and would be integrated as part of an individual roster into the normal workplace activities and and rotation that would be undertaken by a full-time or part-time employee within the Club or Hotel Sector of the Hospitality Industry.
The normal requirements that would apply to Trainees would apply and it is suggested that indivduals seeking a traineeship should vist the Department of Education for more information
Certification
On successfull completion of all units and assessment requirements contained within the specific course students will received a
- Certificate III in Hospitality SIT30707
which is recognised in all Sates and Territories of Australia.
Units gained in completion of this qualification can also be used by students to gain advance standing in higher level qualifications that they may undertake in developing their individual careers.
Duration
This program is generally offered on a part-time and will take between 12 and 24 months to complete.
